The ancient Biblical heritage of the Holy Land beautiful olive wood
carving is getting simple with our new roughouts.

Roughouts - are used by both
beginning and advanced carvers. They help beginners with proportion and
save valuable time for professionals.
 
Removing excess wood is never fun but carving details
is. These roughouts allow you to get right to the fun. Each
roughout comes with a full
color pattern showing all four sides of a recently finished piece that we
have carved.
    
Bethlehem Holy Land olive wood is heavy, dense and durable with a
distinctive red pigment in its grain. All carvings made of rare wood have
a varying and smooth grain, making every piece extraordinarily unique. It
is very difficult to match the grain of two pieces since the pattern is
completely hidden in the heart of the wood. As it ages, it
will become darker and richer in color thus making it even more beautiful.
Once carved, the wood is sanded and coated with varnish to protect it and
highlight the texture of the grain. There is no need for oiling or further
treatment of any kind since olive oil inside the wood is naturally protecting
the wood from corrosions.
The artistically smooth and elegant grain of the olive wood renders it one
of the most beautiful in the world and olive wood carvings will easily last a
life time and be enjoyed by generations to come.

All our carvings are hand carved from Authentic Bethlehem Holy Land
Olive Wood. Environment friendly, made from the trimmings of the olive
trees, an essential process which allows a new and healthier growth for
the trees. No Tree was damaged or destroyed in the process of harvesting
the wood.
Rough out are available for most of our the carvings Since we only use the
trimmings of the olive trees and the trimmings of the tree is usually
comes in small sizes carvings that need big pieces of wood might not be
available in Roughout. Please check with us for the Roughout you have in
mind so we can check if we have the right size of wood for it.
Now custom duplicating is available for instructors, dealers or carvers doing
multiple numbers. The value of your carving will increase when you customers
find out that your carvings are not just beautiful they are made from the Wood
of the Holiest tree in the Holy Land.
